C Speed LLC is an innovative product development and engineering services company that builds the Lightwave Radar.  C Speed commissioned Peak Spatial to build and operate a unique siting tool for the Lightwave Radar that allows radar operators to analyze radar placement scenarios by location, radar range and angular settings, and produce radar viewsheds for one or more radars.  The tool provides direct radar shapefile and kml file output for improved understanding of sensor coverage in other command and control systems.

TSPEAR – Tool for Siting, Planning, and Encroachment Analysis for Renewables

The TSPEAR framework, with SilverSphere™ toolkit underpinnings, provides developers a portal to securely upload project information and share that information with their development teams. The data is viewable to many collaborators and approving authorities when the developers allow access. TSPEAR models surveillance and terminal radars that are impacted by wind turbines .

The longer term objectives of TSPEAR are to expand beyond radar constraints to other disciplines including wildlife, avian, bat, acoustic, cultural, and wetlands that may be required by various federal, state and local agencies. This unique architecture and approach will provide a collaborative capability among these different interest groups so that, as a project changes in response to one set of constraints, the changes can propagate across the other disciplines for rapid reassessments that might be required. The end result is a speedier, more comprehensive and less time consuming approval process for developers and a more transparent development assessment by government agencies.
